The French Baker was the first place in Ottawa to offer illy coffee in all of its forms: espresso, latté, and filtered. We grind illy beans for our filtered coffee and use illy’s ESE pods for everything else. So your espresso always has a nice “cream” of froth and is never bitter or watery. You don’t need to add cream to illy coffee to bring out the flavour or round off its edges!
We also retail all of illy’s coffee beans and grinds, including its ESE pods. Once you get hooked on illy, it’s hard to settle for anything else. So we also sell Francis Francis espresso machines designed to take illy’s ESE pods and look great on your kitchen counter.
We also retail the Northern Delights Inuit herbal teas served at Rideau Hall as well as Teisseire pure fruit syrups from France designed to be added to milk or water for summer drinks.
